Founded in 1994, Lainey has been a professional Florida based artist. She began her business Lainey Goodrich Designs 27 years ago in Tampa, FL when she built her first home with Bobby Alvarez. From here she worked with local clients and grew her portfolio, being published in Architectural Digest renowned for her Mediterranean Style of interior design. Her works have been published locally, regionally and nationally.

In 2000 she followed her burning passion for painting and began producing a variety of artwork that has psychological depth and is ethereal in nature. She uses several techniques to bring her work to life including Fresco, Pigment Dispersion, and Camaieu. Her complex surfaces and dynamic imagery have been compared to abstract expressionist, Jackson Pollock while her gestural abstraction has linked her to Janet Sobel and Willem de Kooning.

Upon returning from her first trip to Africa in November 2017, her paintings utilized key elements of the Earth. She was inspired by love, gratitude and what the animals bestowed.

Lainey Goodrich Designs reflects a chosen style whether it be rustic, mid-century modern, transitional or contemporary: each project can be curated to your desire.

Lainey has two children and two grandchildren who also live in FL. She is actively involved with the humane society volunteering regularly and donating her artwork for auctions to raise money for a great cause.

All paintings are ready for hanging upon receipt.
